Kenya's tour itinerary revised

Cricket Canada has advised that due to a delay in obtaining visas, dates for the visit of Kenya to Canada have had to be revised.

The ICC Intercontinental Cup Match is now scheduled for August 14-17 at Maple Leaf Cricket Club, King City, Ontario.

The revised dates for the three match ODI series betwen Canada and Kenya are August 19, 21 and 23.

 The ODIs are also being played at Maple Leaf Cricket Club, King City, Ontario. The ground is located at the north-east corner of Dufferin Street and 15th Sideroad, King City.

Liburd happy

All games (IC Cup and ODIs) are scheduled to start at 10am.

Interim Cricket Canada CEO Ingleton Liburd commented "â?¦we were happy to accommodate this change and are very thankful to our partners at Maple Leaf Cricket Club and the Toronto and District Cricket Association for their cooperation in this matterâ?¦"

World Cup U-19 

Soon after the visit of Kenya, Canada hosts the ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifying Competition over a two-week period, beginning Sept 1.

The Maple Leaf ground will be pivotal in this event, but some of a 45 game schedule of matches will be played at other grounds in the Greater Toronto Area.

Five of ten competing countries at this Under-19 event will advance to next year's ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

The field of ten countries in this event is: Canada and the US (ICC Americas Region); Uganda and Sierra Leone (ICC Africa); Hong Kong and Afghanistan (ICC Asia); Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu (East Asia-Pacific).

Ireland and the Netherlands (for ICC Europe) round off the total field in this tourney.
